15 Months

What?? 15 months.  Where has our baby gone?  Who is this toddler?  Although Kyle's growth may have slowed, she still is changing constantly and is now busier than ever.

At 15 months, Kyle weighs 24.9 pounds (81%).  She's 31.89 inches (89%).  As is Richards-Watson fashion, her head circumference is 19.09 inches (98%).  We're hoping it's too hold all those brains.

Kyle continues to babble and tell stories, although we have yet to figure out all her words.  She will proclaim duck, daddy, cat, and dog with intense fashion.  She's also mentioned rock and mama a few times.  When asked, she'll point to her nose or go get her baby.  Kyle loves books and was thrilled for Grampi and Grammi to endlessly read stories.  However, when no one is available, she's just as happy to read to herself.  When excited, she shakes her head three times and says yeah, yeah, yeah.

She loves swings and threw her first tantrum this past weekend when Mama finally stopped pushing.  Her fear of slides came to an abupt halt, and she would love nothing more to go up and down over and over.  She continues to loves jogs with me pointing out trees and flowers and yelling Dog every chance she has.   Kyle climbs stairs and tackles just about every location where she might be able to sit.  She runs with intensity and purpose, but is quick to stop to examine a leaf, rock, or patch of dirt.  This girl definitely does not mind getting dirty.

Kyle still loves to eat, although veggies seem to find theirway to the side of the plate.  She's used utensils a few times but prefers her hands.  Luckily, she's a very clean eater and very seldom does anything make it to the floor.  Her favorites still include cheese, blueberries, macaroni, and chicken.  At night now she makes an effort to brush her teeth and always takes a moment to check out herself in the mirror.

We couldn't ask for a more amazing and special little toddler.  Every month I keep thinking this stage is so fun, but it only gets better and better.
