Half-point Birthday

In hopes of equalizing our weather and making life simpler, we combined Kyle and Jack’s birthday for one mega event. There were pinatas, burger cupcakes, scavenger hunts, and bounce houses. There were smiles and laughs, that even the rain did not bring down. It was one of the best days around the barn!

 

 

Tooth on the Loose

After weeks of wiggling and hope, Kyle’s first tooth popped out with not even a pull. This was followed days later by tooth number two. Gap-toothed grin is now in full force!

Turning it All Upside Down

Someone loves to spend her time hanging upside down from any apparatus age can find.

Someone else loves to zoom and slide.

And there is Porgi once again.

Porgs and Penguins Everywhere

Pretty much everywhere we go, a stuffed animal comes with. Penguin has donned a variety of outfits and loves to come along...he also mysteriously gets into many predicaments. Porgi is a constant companion and has even made surprise visits to school.

Baskets Full Galore

Saturday brought us a glorious day of sun. The weather was perfect for the town hunt, that again did not disappoint. Jack took the choice of checking each egg’s contents before adding to his bucket. Kyle ran with a vengeance and scored. Both brought in great hauls. The afternoon was topped with softball practice, picnic lunch, and more play.

Over night the Easter Bunny visited with baskets of fun. Then the rain poured down as we traipsed outside making for quick egg gathering. More fun and celebration was had at church.
