On the Hunt

What has become a yearly tradition continued for the Watson family this weekend.  We spent the Saturday before Easter enjoying the local parade - complete with pirates, tractors, and the Bunny  himself.  This year Kyle grasped the reality that parades include candy.  It was a good thing we sat at the beginning because there was plenty to be had.  Although it was quite apparent, Kyle was not greedy and enjoyed collecting more than eating.  Unfortunately we ended up rushing out the last 10 minutes in a sudden downpour, but someone was still exhausted.  Sunday was filled with a visit from the bunny and eggs scattered in the yard.  Kyle helped her cousin Maddie hunt them down.  Then quickly filled her belly with Great Grandfather's waffles and fresh strawberries.  Interestingly, she has not even asked about the candy.

How We Roll

We experienced an early and extremely sunny weekend.  Kyle took full advantage tromping at multiple playgrounds, conquering big slides, coloring sidewalks, and watering plants.  So excited summer is just around the corner.
