Sporting About

With the Spring season, sporting activities are in full force. Kyle is tackling softball. This has been a test of coordination, patience, and recognizing you are not always the best. She is also continuing swimming lessons, which continue to be a fave.

Jack is busy trekking along and loves the playgrounds. He's also conquered a few miles with his momma!

Gathering around the BBQ

We joined friends recently to relax around the fire pit with burgers, hot dogs, and fun.  Although it may still be April, this weather is calling for summer activities.  We were happy to join the neighbor for just the thing.

Hoppity Hop Hop

This one is a tad late.  However, we have had summer-like days here so all free moments have been outside.  This year, we headed to the community easter egg hunt.  It was a blast with thousands of eggs for only hundreds of kids placed all over the park.  Every kid left with a full basket (or bucket) with candies and other treats.  Jack preferred the freedom of running most of all and opening all eggs with little care for what was inside. Kyle was thrilled to take whatever he left behind.

We followed up the next day with an egg hunt in our own yard where more treats were doled out and baskets uncovered.
