Try and Try Again

Kyle recently attended a party with an extremely impressive inflatable slide.  However, the concept of climbing up the designated feet holds was another story.  After several treks up by mom while pushing a small person, a line was finally drawn.  It was clear she understood the concept, but seemed to be giving up before she even tried.  With a little motivation and the recognition she could do it, Kyle tackled that giant climbing wall much to her delight.  And then she conquered it over and over again.

 

From My Sweetheart

Kyle had her first Valentine's Party at preschool, and it was a hit.  She made a Valentine kitty for all her treats, wore red, and ate red food all day.  Someone was pretty excited when I picked her up that night.  She sat both her parents on the floor, and then went through her Valentines one by one exclaiming how excited she was about each one!

A Light Dusting

Someone was quite excited to wake up to SNOW on Sunday morning.  Once we bundled up to go outside, it was a bit of a different story.  However, sledding became a new favorite activity and anything cold or wet was forgotten. 

One Super Weekend

As a Seattleite, this past weekend was one for the record books.  For Kyle, it had two days of cupcakes which is always a bonus.  For her father, his team finally brought home a national championship.  There were many shouts of touchdown and cheers as we celebrated.  For mommy, she got to attend her first ever Victory Parade with 700,000 other residents all grouped together for a team this town loves.  It was definitely something special.
