As the barn nears completion, it was time to move onto the next project - a wood shed to keep us prepared for winters to come. With the snow and storms this year, a number of trees came down. If we have another winter like the last, we will be toasty warm no matter what comes our way. Kyle was all in with the project - out in the rain helping to mark and measure. Jack came along with a few tools. Then they both got the thrill of standing on the roof to mark the accomplishment. Not sure they completely understand that they will be helping to stack all the wood underneath.

Leaving Bunny Tracks
They hunted and they conquered...with a little bit of sunshine added in. Easter weekend was pretty perfect around these parts. No rain and some sun meant great times outside. There were community egg hunts and flashlight dark hunts at church. Buckets are filled to the brim with candy. Plus we had trucks, bubbles, and an impromptu pizza night with cousins and family. It could not have been better!

Cloudy with a chance of Sunbursts
It continues to be grey skies and rain here in the PNW. However, we are ever optimistic and take every chance to get outside. This past weekend, we visited a local camp where Kyle is going to go this summer. There were easter egg hunts, face painting, animals, and cabins to explore.
When they announced the toddler hunt, Jack took off running determined to win the race. He quickly discovered though the thrill of hunting eggs. I'm sure it helped that he was dressed for the occasion.
