Experience Animal Magnetism

We headed to the Evergreen State Fair again this year.  In the past, Kyle has been most excited about the animals.  This year, it was the rides and our little thrill seeker preferred anything that went fast!  It's pretty clear she inherited her mom's love for roller coasters!  The ultimate favorites were Wacky Worm and Super Slide.  I suspect she would have gone again and again.  Perhaps only stopping for an elephant ear.  Jack, meanwhile, stayed his normal smiley self.

Capturing the Moment

When Jack was six weeks old, our favorite photographer captured some amazing shots.

Since there was a professional on hand, someone wanted to make sure the little guy did not get all the attention.

Three Months Down

Our little guy is now three months old.  He continues to be full of gummy grins and chubby thighs.  Jacks seems to take life in stride including the constant touches, hugs and cuddles from his big sister.  She definitely loves her Baby Jack.  He enjoys anything he can swat.  Jack also grins with rattles and toys.  However, if given the option, Jack seems to prefer his hand.  Just this morning, Kyle commented he is going to eat it all gone!  He is adjusting slowly to daycare with some fussiness.  Mom is hoping these are only growing pains.

Head Shots

It appears they are related, although the differences are becoming more apparent.

First Days

Jack joined his big sister, Kyle, at "preschool" this week.  Sissy was quite excited to have Baby Jack in attendance and has continued to ask every morning if Jack is coming with.  Jack seems to have handled the transition fairly well, while his mommy has had to let go  a bit.  Apparently Jack wants to let her know he still needs snuggles, especially at 2 in the morning.

Luckily about the time Mommy was getting a bit teary-eyed, she received this.

Going to the B*E*A*C*H

We recently attempted to trek to a beach across the way from our house, only to stumble upon a movie filming.  Let's say the toddler was disappointed.  Luckily, when you live on the river - the beach is just a stones throw away.  Kyle immediately waded into the water and loved making sand castles.  I suspect many new adventures are likely this summer, especially since low tide also offered the chance to hunt for treasures.
