This weekend we received some very sad news. Kyle's great-grandma Helen passed away. We know she is talking up a storm with her son and husband, telling them every event from the past years. Yet we'll still miss her endless visiting, Swedish pancakes, and Christmas spritzes baked with love. I think it goes without saying there will never be a grandma quite like Helen. I'm so thankful she had the opportunity to meet and snuggle Kyle. I was blessed to have my grandparents in my life for so long, but it's still hard to say good-bye. We Love You!

Picking out a pumpkin
We gathered with local friends again this year to check out a local pumpkin patch. Kyle loved this place because it involved animals and finally her opportunity to pick her one pumpkin. She had a tendency to pick the slightly larger one. Plus Kyle made sure to have a repeat of last year, and had a slight meltdown for no apparent reason. She was then back to her cheery self.

I got it!
Apparently Kyle has learned to help herself. Looks like I'm going to have to move the snacks up higher.

Tractor!
That's really the only word a girl needs to say when seeing one of these! She definitely has some farmer in her.

Who you rootin' for?
It's Fall and that means football. Kyle sported some of her Seahawk gear this past Sunday to cheer them to a win. Plus she got to play with pumpkins. Luckily for Kyle, she only has to learn "Go Hawks" to cover all her favorite teams.
Luckily, this past weekend, Kyle's two favorite teams (with Iowa being #1) had great wins!

How can I help?
Kyle has recently become fascinated with doing the laundry. She pulls the laundry basket from any location, and promptly stuffs everything inside into the machine. If only I could teach her to sort!

On Day 2, we traveled across Olympic National Park to visit the Hoh Rain Forest, stopped at Ruby Beach to see the Pacific Ocean, and then spent the evening at a cabin on the coast. It was a wonderful and relaxing day.
